1. About this notice

This notice explains how thegig.live (the "Service") uses personal data. "We" and "us" mean thegig.live, which runs the Service. It applies to everyone who uses the Service: performers, members of their teams, and fans who send song requests.

We may update this notice. When we do, the date at the top of the page changes. If a change matters a lot, we will tell you in the Service.

2. What we collect

When you sign in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, your email address and your name. If you sign in with an email code, we receive your email address. We do not receive your password.

If you are a performer. You may add a display name, a short description of what you play, your home town and your time zone. You choose a Name, which is public. You add gigs (name, place, date and time), a song list, and the songs open for requests at each gig. If you invite team members, we keep the invitation and who joined.

If you are a fan. When you send a song request, we keep the request: the song, your note, the time, and its outcome. The performer sees your name and your note. We keep a list of your requests so you can see them.

Records of your agreement. We keep a record of which version of each terms document you accepted, and when.

Technical data. Like most web services, our servers keep technical records, such as your IP address, the time and the address of the pages you use. We use them to keep the Service secure and to fix problems. We record when we send an email and whether it worked, without the code and without the full address.

Actions by our team. When our team acts on a Name, for example to revoke it, we keep a record of the action and the reason.

3. Why we use it
